Profession

First I learned the job of a car mechanic and served in an Armored Reconaissance Battallion of the German Bundeswehr, then visited school again and finished as aerospace engineer.

ERNO

I was with Astrium from 1989 to 2000, in former times ERNO Raumfahrttechnik, in Bremen. There I coded software for ground test equipment, Virtual Reality and designed a variety of space vehicles, nearly all of which disappeared in the paper basket so far. I specialized on 3D design of spacecraft.

Inspector, a 3D simulation of a real space flight

HUSS

From 2000 to 2006 I was with HUSS Maschinenfabrik in Bremen, designing amusement rides, i.e. all what rotates or goes up and down. Here some examples of my work. With these simulations and a full PC in a suitcase I travelled some hundred times to customers all over the world. Laptops were not able to show this.

Jump2 - I even moved this following a waltz. The most sophisticated machinery I ever had the pleasure to simulate. Most of my grey hair came from the design of this machine. Consumes some 1000 kw flat.

Giant Frisbee, 42 m high, 105 km/h fast.

Land of Giants, four working rides in one 3D environment written in VRML and Javascript. One of my masterpieces at Huss.

From 2006 to 2022 I was with Rheinmetall, concerned with various military simulations.
